Tyre repair FAQ

How long does a tyre job take?
Inner tube replacements are done while you wait — usually 20 to 40 minutes. Solid tyre fitting takes longer, typically 1 to 2 hours, as the tyre needs to be pressed on carefully to avoid damaging the rim. Tubeless tyre swaps are similar to air tyre replacements — around 30 to 45 minutes.
Should I go solid or air tyres?
Solid tyres mean zero punctures ever — great for commuters on smooth roads. Air tyres give a much more comfortable ride and better grip, especially on uneven surfaces. If you're getting frequent punctures, solid is worth considering. We'll advise based on how and where you ride.
Do you stock tyres and tubes, or do I need to bring my own?
We stock inner tubes and the most common tyre sizes in-house so most jobs can be done same day. Less common sizes can usually be sourced next day — call ahead and we'll confirm availability before your visit. You don't need to source parts yourself.
Do you patch inner tubes or tubeless tyres?
No — we replace, not patch. Patches on inner tubes and tubeless tyres aren't reliable enough, especially at speed. For a puncture we replace the inner tube. For tubeless tyres we replace the whole tyre. It costs a little more but it's done properly and won't let you down.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes — appointment only. Call or WhatsApp to book a slot. Same-day appointments are often available for tyre jobs.
Do you offer pick-up and drop-off for tyre repairs?
Yes. If you can't get to us we can collect your scooter or e-bike and return it once the tyre is sorted. Ask about availability when booking.
